Firstly, it is important that you find the property that is right for you and the people you are travelling with. Our properties are very diverse in terms of size, amenities, and proximity to beaches and towns. At Italian Islands, we have a wealth of knowledge about the properties and their locations and we would be more than happy to assist you with any queries you may have and to advise you on which properties would be most suited to your request. So please do contact us to find out any more information you need.
Once you have decided on your property, this is the booking procedure:
Stage 1: Check availability
If you would like to book one of our properties, please contact us first to find out the price and check on availability. You can fill in the form below, send us an e-mail putting in all the details of your request, or give us a ring on 0845 0944 309. We will do our best to let you know the availability as soon as possible and we can put a property on hold for you for a day if you need time to decide. (Please note: as we deal with many private owners, in a few cases we may have difficulties getting in contact with them to check availability. This may mean you have to a wait a few hours or even until the next day to get confirmation, but we will keep you informed of the situation.)
Stage 2: Make a provisional booking
If we have confirmed the availability and price for you and you would like to make a firm booking, please let us know, either by email or by phone. We will then give you a booking number and make a provisional booking for you, which we will hold for a week. Within this time we must receive a filled-in copy of our Booking Form, which can be printed off in PDF Format. This must be signed and sent back to us by fax or post. We will also need to receive your initial deposit. If there is less than 2 months to go before your departure date, we will request that you pay the full amount due.
Please note: if we do not receive the form and payment within a week then we cannot continue to guarantee availability of the property.
Stage 3: Confirmation of booking
Once we have received your completed booking form and payment and the funds have cleared, we will issue your Confirmation Invoice. This will confirm the booking and make it binding. It will also state when the balance is due (if applicable). Please do check that all details are correct and let us know straight away if there are any amendments to be made.
Stage 4: Information pack
Once we have received your balance (or payment in full), we will send you a final confirmation invoice, a voucher to take with you to give to the owner or reception on arrival, directions to the property from the airport (or port), a guide to local food specialities and an Italian Islands’ Itineraries sheet with tips on what to do and where to eat out. We will also give you the owner’s contact details and an emergency contact mobile number.
