Pretty garden & terrace
Sea & nature views
Sip wine on the terrace
Exquisite garden & drive
Outdoors: In contrast with the wildness of the nature between the property and the beaches is the perfectly manicured garden, featuring lush Mediterranean plants, an olive tree and a soft green lawn. Next to the barbecue, raised above the garden and covered by a wood and bamboo roof is the large, tiled terrace – a charming area that is big enough to accommodate a full size table, sun loungers and deck chairs. This comfortable spot is a place to relax both by day when sitting out enjoying the delightful sea views over the treetops and by night when dining al fresco. Living area
Kitchen/dining area
Indoors: Leading into the property from the terrace is the open-plan, air conditioned living area comprising dining table, sofa and kitchen corner. French doors at the other side of this room open onto a tiled patio with washing machine. The pleasant main bedroom enjoys plenty of natural light from its sea-facing window. There is a smaller twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Cosy main bedroom
Sa Perdalonga beach
Surrounding Area: Villetta Chiara is located between the twin capes of Malfatano and Spartivento in the Perdalonga residence which consists of privately owned holiday homes. It has arguably the best position within the residence in terms of its views and its proximity to the beach. The well-maintained flower-filled complex is gated which restricts access to the beaches and for extra security there is a full-time custodian. Aside from the enchanting semi-private chain of beaches within the residence, the villetta is also fairly close to Tuerredda, one of the most photographed beaches on the South coast with soft sands, clear waters and several amenities including a beach bar. Within a very short drive there are so many sandy beaches that you could visit a different one every day of your holiday and still not see them all! There are restaurants scattered around the nearby resorts and villages, while a twenty minute or so drive will take you to the lively town of Pula which has a good selection of restaurants, bars and gelaterias. Pula offers pretty boutiques, salumerias (Italian delicatessens) and large supermarkets and Chia, just 5 km away from Villetta Chiara, has a couple of mini-markets. Sardinia’s bustling capital, Cagliari, is less than an hour’s drive. In terms of archaeology it is not far to several sites of interest, including the wonderful remains of the Punic-Roman town of Nora. For sporting activities there is a football pitch within the residence and the 27-hole Is Molas golf course is also just a short car journey. Sardinian granite rocks
Exotic garden plants
Italian Islands Insight: The quiet and friendly owner lives next door so will be on hand if needed. This next-door property has its own separate entrance and shares no communal areas with Villetta Chiara, apart from access to the barbecue which is occasionally used by the owner. The property is fully enclosed and would be a good choice for families who want a safe walk to the beach for their children. Toddlers will need to be supervised on the terrace as there are two sets of steps leading down to the garden. This property is perfect for those holidaymakers who yearn for a bit of isolation whilst still being within easy driving distance of all amenities. Its tranquil setting will suit those who love walking, swimming and otherwise appreciating the beauty of untamed nature. |
