Casa Elsa is on the 1st floor
Outdoors: A drive leads up from the road to the side of Casa Elsa, where your car can be safely left. A side entrance gives access to one of the bedrooms from here, but the main entrance is at the front of the casa, which is reached from the terrace running around the side and front. This terrace is large enough to have three distinct areas: space to relax on deck chairs, a sheltered section where you can enjoy a coffee or aperitif, and a dining table. From each of these areas the view of the coastline, sea and islands is remarkable and acts as a constant enhancement to all your holiday activities. Pretty kitchenette
Indoors: While eating on the terrace is an enticing option, having your meal indoors does not mean you lose out on the view. Casa Elsa is elevated enough to ensure that the view from the dining room table encompasses the town, the sea and the islands of Tavolara and Molara. The main living area of the property has a marine theme, with fish adorning the walls and a painting of the nearby coastline elaborating the fireplace. A kitchenette is separated from the dining and living areas by a smart counter framed by stained wood, and the room also contains two sofa-beds. Comfy sofa-bed
Throughout Casa Elsa, the space in between the pale green tiles on the floor and the wooden beams on the ceiling has been decorated with thoughtfulness and care. One double bedroom has a green colour theme and offsets this with heavy wood furniture. This room has a French window that opens onto the terrace offering a sea view. The other bedroom has its own en-suite shower room and there is a separate second shower room. Dine on a nearby beach
Surrounding area: Casa Elsa is perched on the slopes of the Monte Contros hills above the lively resort of Porto San Paolo. A few minutes drive down the hillside will reveal all that this village has to offer: ice cream parlours boasting homemade ice cream of unique and extravagant flavours, cocktail bars with amazing creations filled with fresh fruits, a wide range of places to eat from bars & cafes offering tasty snacks to excellent restaurants supplying the best that the sea has to offer. Granite on a sandy shore
Down by the sea are two small sandy beaches, waterside trattorias and a little port offering excursions to the nearby islands so you can get up close to the view you will have come to love. You can hire your own boats or make use of the renowned diving school to discover some of the underwater relics from a shipwreck. Porto San Paulo also offers conveniences such as a cash point and supermarkets so you are not obliged to leave the resort but if you do there are a whole host of superb sandy beaches be discovered nearby, each more beautiful than the last. Without driving further than 15 minutes in either direction you will find marvellous coves and wonderful stretches of coast to suit all tastes. Italian Islands Insight: Casa Elsa is situated above Casa Molara and Casa Tavolara, which each have a beautiful lawn and are also available for rent. Terrace overlooking sea
