Outdoors: Beyond the two sheltered parking spaces and the manicured lawn, the cool shaded terrace of Casa Molara offers the ideal place to enjoy a meal at any time of day. Overlooking the pretty garden and its Mediterranean plants, the view extends to the sea and to the casa’s namesake, the island of Molara and its neighbour Tavolara. This stunning view will perpetually delight you throughout your stay.

Fans decorate the bedrooms

Indoors: Large sliding doors ensure that the view can be appreciated throughout the spacious living area and from the master bedroom. The living/dining room is very comfortable with plenty of seating including a double sofa-bed. The kitchenette is set back from the rest of the room and is very well-equipped – even boasting the UK favourites of toaster, kettle and teapot! The bedrooms are in separate areas of the house: the double bedroom to the rear has plenty of storage and its own huge en-suite shower room. The master bedroom is a bright airy room that is beautifully decorated in shades of green. It has floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and the comfort of a sofa and armchair. In the corridor opposite is a large shower room with washing machine. There is also a separate store room where you can leave your empty suitcases.

Surrounding area: Casa Molara is perched on the slopes of the Monte Contros hills above the lively resort of Porto San Paolo. A few minutes drive down the hillside will reveal all that this village has to offer: ice cream parlours boasting homemade ice cream of unique and extravagant flavours, cocktail bars with amazing creations filled with fresh fruits, a wide range of places to eat from bars & cafes offering tasty snacks to excellent restaurants supplying the best that the sea has to offer.

Crystal waters at a nearby beach

Down by the sea are two small sandy beaches, waterside trattorias and a little port offering excursions to the nearby islands so you can get up close to the view you will have come to love. You can hire your own boats or make use of the renowned diving school to discover some of the underwater relics from a shipwreck. Porto San Paulo also offers conveniences such as a cash point and supermarkets so you are not obliged to leave the resort but if you do there are a whole host of superb sandy beaches be discovered nearby, each more beautiful than the last. Without driving further than 15 minutes in either direction you will find marvellous coves and wonderful stretches of coast to suit all tastes.

Under certain circumstances and on request, the bedrooms can be converted into twin rooms and an extra child’s bed can be added. For larger groups, the neighbouring properties of Casa Tavolara and Casa Elsa can also be rented.
